1963 生於台灣台北市，自1985年開始從事陶藝創作至今37年，作品受邀展覽於美國、加拿大、匈牙利、紐西蘭、荷蘭、英國、義大利、丹麥、德國、希臘、克羅埃西亞、 瑞士、法國、奧地利、阿根廷、斯洛伐克、愛爾蘭、羅馬尼亞、 土耳其、澳洲、日本、中國、韓國與台灣美術館、博物館、藝廊等，國內國外邀請展105次，個展15次。

Ting-Ju Shao was born in Taipei, Taiwan . She has immersed herself in creative ceramic art for 37 years. Shao’s works have been displayed in 101 selected exhibitions and 15 solo exhibitions. Since 1998, she has written articles for "Ceramic Art" , “Taiwan Craft “in Taiwan , and“ New Ceramics “ in Germany since 2005， she is the columnist of " Artist Journal " for Germany New Ceramics since 2016, The Contemporary Ceramic Art for Taiwan "Artists" fine art magazine since 2018 ,over 100 articles have been published.

Shao is the committee consultant for the Taiwan Ceramics Biennale (2004 , 2010, 2012, 2016). Shao served as committee consultant for The artists selection in 2008 and The Fifth and Seven Taipei Ceramics Awards in 2007 ,2010 and 2011. Shao served as committee consultant for The International Tea Pot Exhibition in 2002 and The International Large Scale Ceramics Sculpture Exhibition in 2001, all of them which took place in New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum.
She attended the I.A.C general assembly Korea in Incheon (2004) as well as pMcKnight Foundationarticipated the traveling exhibition “The Human Form in Clay-the Minds Eye ” in Shizuoka, Hyogo, Shigaraki , Japan / organized by The Shigaraki Cultural Park Ceramic Museum (2007-2008).
